A fun challenge to motivate your students and strengthen class cohesion. They take on fun and varied challenges on The Big Challenge PLAY application to shine at national level. Every point counts and contributes to the final victory.

Over the last few years, many of you have asked us to create a tool that would enable you to get more students to engage in your classes, especially when some might not feel confident in English. It’s in response to this need that we’ve created The CLASS Challenge.
This event takes place on The Big Challenge PLAY application from 13 to 31 January 2025.
It’s open to all registered schools.
We measure involvement, not level
All students take part and can win, whatever their English level.
Ideal for getting as many students as possible involved in the adventure. The aim of this event is to engage them.
There’s no grade at the end. Only the level of involvement counts.
A fun and stimulating challenge
This event will allow you to involve ALL the students in the class, whatever their level: no mark at the end, just the opportunity to play and help their class win.
There are no individual results, only the overall level of involvement of the class. The whole class wins. Students play to win together. The aim of this event is to create real stimulation within the group.
Each point earned on the application is added to the points accumulated by the class. Everyone contributes to the group’s victory. All the students have their place, the least confident as well as the best. Here, we don’t measure level, but commitment. Because we know, as you do, that commitment is the key to success.
No extra work for you. Once you’ve registered, your students will be stimulating each other. And they’ll amaze you!

The most deserving students and classes will be rewarded for their involvement. At the end of the CLASS Challenge, prizes will be distributed to reward and congratulate the winners: a medal for the most deserving student in each class, diplomas and trophies for the winning classes, and more surprises… !

An Escape Game Kit to organise an escape game in English in your classroom. The game promotes class cohesion while improving language skills. Students will love solving puzzles together. The printable Kit allows unlimited play, and can be reused from one year to the next!

The Big Challenge PLAY is a training application.
The Big Challenge PLAY is free to use. Students can register themselves and play selected educational games throughout the year.
The Big Challenge PLAY is available for all levels of the contest from primary to secondary school.
Your students can easily download The Big Challenge PLAY app and create an account to play it independently and for free.
You have the possibility to create your students' accounts from your teacher account.
No, your students do not need to be registered for the competition to use PLAY. They can practice English and participate in the events independently of the competition.
However, if they want to access to the previous tests, they have to be registered so they can practise under real test conditions.
Access to the PLAY practice app is completely free.
If you wish, you can opt for additional "Class activities" licences for your students, but this is optional and independent of the competition.
