Objective & Plot Summary
The educational objective is to reinforce the memorization and spelling precision of A1 vocabulary related to food, drinks, and meals (JUICE, COFFEE, TEA, CAKE, DINNER, RESTAURANT). The resource is a word scramble exercise in which students must decipher six words in English. For each scrambled word (e.g., CEJIU, TRASTUANER), a descriptive clue (Hint) is provided (e.g., "A drink made from fruit", "A place to eat out"). Students must use the clue to find the word, then rearrange the letters to spell it correctly[cite: 9].
Suggested Activity Flow
Before the activity (~5 min): PREDICTIVE AND PRONUNCIATION

Write the keywords "Drink", "Food", "Meal" and "Place" on the board. Ask students to quickly list, in pairs, an example of vocabulary they know under each category, related to the resource's theme.

Remind them of the importance of reading the clues (Hints) to target the word before attempting to decipher its spelling.
During the activity (~10-15 min): DECODING AND COMPARISON

Step 1: Students complete the exercise individually. For longer words (TRASTUANER/RESTAURANT), encourage the use of a rough sheet of paper to manipulate the letters.

Step 2: Correct the exercise collectively. For each word, ask a student to read the clue, give the word, then spell the answer. This reinforces active listening and spelling.

Step 3: Highlight words that might be false friends or require special attention, such as "DINNER" or "COFFEE".
After the activity (~5-10 min): CREATE A MENU

**Production Activity:** Ask students, in small groups, to create an imaginary restaurant "mini-menu", using at least four of the decoded words (e.g., "Our special is CAKE with COFFEE").

**Quick Debate:** Ask students about their favorite drink and meal from the list and why (e.g., "I like JUICE because it is sweet.") to encourage simple oral expression.
Adaptations

To simplify: Provide a translation of the clues in the native language if reading comprehension is an obstacle, to focus solely on deciphering the letters.

To extend: Ask students to create a "Hint" for each word on the list, but this time using a more complex sentence (e.g., "I usually drink this with my breakfast. It is a hot brown drink" for COFFEE).
