What’s in The Big Challenge?
Registering your students to The Big Challenge gives you and your students a hands-on educational and fun experience all year round.
The registration includes full access to the exclusive learning App The Big Challenge PLAY and the Academy. It includes the emblematic CLASS Challenge in January. That way you can motivate the students and keep them busy with English-learning fun all year round.
Towards the end of the school year, the students participate in the Europe-wide Big Challenge contest! Everyone gets a prize and you get everything you need to easily create a brilliant prize ceremony to celebrate the students. An event not to be missed!
It’s the first time that the registration includes the whole Big Challenge experience, which is why the prices have evolved to 10€ per person.

The App The Big Challenge PLAY
The Big Challenge PLAY contains over 20 000 questions to accompany your English lessons and help the students enjoy learning.
For each grade level, from primary to secondary, there are dozens of themes covering the programme. Each theme contains dozens of questions and exercises, in the form of multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank texts or pairings.
Audio is an important part of the content.
It’s also a great way to practice for the contest.
The Academy
The Academy is a comprehensive platform that’s tailored to your needs as a teacher: diverse content, simple organisational tools and motivating events for your students.
Everything is designed to lighten your workload and increase engagement in the classroom.
The CLASS Challenge
The CLASS Challenge is an event for the whole class. For 3 weeks, the students play to win together. The aim of this event is to create real stimulation within the group.
The CLASS Challenge will take place from 13 to 31 January 2025.
The Big Challenge Contest
Last but not least, The Big Challenge Contest is a highlight of the year. The students take a test for their level, online on a computer or a tablet, or you can print out the questions beforehand or project them on a screen in the classroom.
Grammar, vocabulary, listening and English-speaking culture are tested.
The contest is very simple for the teachers to organise, you just need to let us know how many students take part in each level. The more take part, the more fun it is for them!
The Prizes for the students
There are prizes for every participant, nobody loses at The Big Challenge.
There are also lots of extra prizes sent to your school so you can reward your students for their efforts and their achievements. And of course, there are main prizes for the winners on a national and regional levels.
The Resources for the teachers
As soon as your school is registered, all listed teachers have access to lots of highly useful online resources: Music tracks with lyrics to follow in class, fun videos about British culture, audiobooks for various levels of English, games to print out… Enough to keep your students busy all year long!
