Pegadinhas para evitar
1. Fight x argue
Fight = brigar, lutar (fisicamente ou de forma pesada). Argue = discutir, bater boca. Para uma discussão leve, prefira argue. E cuidado com o falso amigo: meus pais discutiram = my parents argued, e não my parents discussed (que significa conversar sobre um assunto).
2. Fought e a ortografia
Três letras mudas, ugh, no meio da palavra. Fight → fought → fought. O mesmo acontece com buy → bought.
