2. Phrasal verb: throw away / throw out
Throw away = jogar fora (no lixo).
- I threw away the old papers. (Joguei fora os papéis velhos.)
- Throw it out! (Joga isso fora!)
3. Throw a party
Throw a party = fazer uma festa.
- They threw a big party. (Eles fizeram uma festa enorme.)
Pegadinhas para evitar
1. Threw x through
Homófonos traiçoeiros. I threw the ball (verbo). I walked through the park (preposição).
2. Make a party ❌
Em português, você faz uma festa, mas em inglês não se diz make a party. O natural é throw a party ou have a party: We threw a party for her birthday.

Throw a party (expressão idiomática). They threw a huge party = eles fizeram uma festa enorme. Fazer uma festa não é make a party: diga throw a party ou have a party.
Throwed existe em inglês?+
Não. Throw é irregular: o Simple Past é threw e o particípio passado é thrown. Nunca throwed.
