Las trampas que debes evitar
1. Hit ≠ beat
En español, golpear y ganar son dos verbos distintos, pero en inglés beat cubre los dos sentidos. Hit = golpear una vez. Beat = golpear repetidamente o ganar a alguien: We beat them 3-0 (les ganamos 3-0), nunca ❌ We hit them 3-0 ni ❌ We won them.
2. Hit me up = phrasal verb
Hit me up (argot) = escríbeme, contacta conmigo. Hit me up tomorrow = llámame mañana. Muy informal.
