Las trampas que debes evitar
1. She said me ❌
En español el complemento indirecto va pegado al verbo: me dijo la verdad. Ese me pide tell en inglés, no say: She told me the truth ✓, nunca She said me the truth ✗. Con say, el destinatario necesita to: She said hello to me.
2. Tell pide destinatario
Con tell casi siempre dices a quién hablas: tell me, tell him, tell us. Sin destinatario solo funcionan las expresiones fijas: tell a lie, tell the truth, tell a story.
