1. Ne pas oublier be
Going to ne s'utilise jamais seul. Il faut toujours am / is / are avant. I going to understand est une faute : il faut I am going to understand.
2. Going to + infinitif
Après going to, on met l'infinitif sans terminaison. I'm going to understand, jamais I'm going to understanding. Le -ing est sur going, pas sur le verbe principal.
3. Going to understand vs going + understanding
I'm going to understand = futur proche (« je vais comprendre »). I'm going understanding n'a pas de sens en règle générale. Exception : I'm going swimming (activité avec déplacement implicite).
