Le trappole da evitare
1. Burst è anche sostantivo
A burst = uno scoppio, una raffica: a burst of laughter = una risata improvvisa, a burst of speed = uno scatto. Attenzione però a non usarlo per lo scoppio di una bomba: quello è a blast o an explosion.
2. Bursting with
Bursting with energy = pieno di energia, bursting with joy = pazzo di gioia. La preposizione è with, mai of: bursting of joy ❌ è il calco dell'italiano pieno di gioia.
