Objective & Activity Summary

The pedagogical objective of this resource is to reinforce spelling memorization and recognition of A1 level basic vocabulary, focusing on the lexical field of the student's immediate environment (school and home)[cite: 16, 18]. Suggested Procedure

During the activity (~15-20 min): TARGETED DECODING AND VERIFICATION

• Step 1: Independent Work: Distribute the worksheet. Emphasize that students should first read the clue ("Hint") and try to anticipate the answer before decoding the jumbled letters. Decoding can be done individually or in challenge pairs.

• Step 2: Correction and Pronunciation: Conduct a quick, collective correction. Ask students to write the correct answer (TEACHER, STUDENT, PEN, HOUSE, CAT, DOG) on the board. Insist on the correct pronunciation of vowels and consonants for each word found.

After the activity (~10-15 min): CONTEXTUALIZATION

• Use of Sounds: For animal words (CAT, DOG), work on onomatopoeia ("meow", "woof") to introduce or revise sounds and verbs associated with these animals.

Adaptations

• To simplify (A0/Beginner Level): For longer words (TEACHER, STUDENT), circle the first letter of the correct word on the board or provide the number of syllables.

• To deepen (Towards A2 Level): Ask students to transform the nouns (TEACHER, STUDENT, DOG, CAT) into derived adjectives or verbs if they know them, or to find the feminine/masculine form of the word (e.g., STUDENT $\rightarrow$ male student/female student).
