Objective & content
Fish and Chips plant a small flower each in a sunny garden. Chips waters hers once, while Fish, "a real expert", uses a bucket and then a hose until the garden becomes a pond, and he happily swims in it. The vocabulary is five garden words: flower, tree, sun, water and grass. The grammar is the demonstrative this in the fixed test question "What's this?" / "And this?", with one-word answers such as "Tree!". Pupils listen, point at the pictures and repeat the words: no reading or writing is asked.
Materials & prerequisites
The folder holds no printable sheets and no lesson plan. You need the episode audio and slideshow only. No prior grammar is assumed.
