The prizes
Every participant receives at least one prize, a downloadable certificate and, for some, additional rewards. Prizes are shipped from 31 May 2027 to the schools, which then hand them out.
Will all students receive their Certificate of Participation?
Yes, every participating student can access and download their Certificate of Participation.
Where can the certificate be accessed?
- Students can download their certificate directly from their Big Challenge account.
- Teachers can also access their students' certificates in the "Documents" section of their teacher account.
This certificate can enrich students' school records and showcase their participation throughout their school career.
How are the prizes awarded to students?
All contest participants receive prizes and rewards: 100% of students receive a prize.
What prizes are awarded?
1️⃣ Individual prize: each student receives at least one personal prize. 2️⃣ Certificate of Participation: this certificate is available online and can be downloaded. 3️⃣ Additional prizes:
- More than 50% of students receive additional prizes.
- Special prizes for the winners at school, departmental/regional and national level.
As the rules state: "In order to best suit each edition, the nature and number of rewards are defined each year by the organisation according to the school year and the ranking of the participants."
Awarding prizes can be used to motivate students throughout the year.
When will I receive the prizes?
The prizes are shipped from 31 May 2027 directly to the schools.
Who hands the prizes out to the students?
The schools themselves are responsible for handing the prizes out to the students.
The prizes are often presented at the end of the school year, which makes them ideal for a closing ceremony.
The prizes I received are damaged. What should I do?
It is possible for prizes to be damaged in transit.
What to do if prizes are damaged?
1️⃣ Contact the contest support team immediately (contact@thebigchallenge.com). 2️⃣ Report the damaged prizes, giving details of the products concerned (a photo of the damage if possible). 3️⃣ Receive new prizes: the organisation will send replacement prizes.
Open the parcel as soon as it arrives and check the condition of the items to avoid any delay in reporting damage.
What should I do if a prize is not received?
1️⃣ Contact the contest support team. 2️⃣ Specify the missing prize with the necessary information. 3️⃣ Verification: the support team will carry out a check and may send the prize again after confirmation.
Keep a record of all communication with the support team to make follow-up easier.
