Teaching guide

Objective & content

The narrator greets Max, Mila, Luna and Ben one by one and asks each of them how they are. Max is hungry, Mila is fine, Luna is happy and Ben is tired, and the narrator repeats each answer calmly. The episode ends with the class's turn after Now you say it! The question and the answers are fixed chunks, with feeling adjectives shown by the pictures. Pupils listen, point at the feeling they see and repeat it aloud; no reading or writing is involved.

Materials & prerequisites

The episode audio and slideshow are the only materials: there are no printables and no lesson plan for this episode. No grammar is assumed; How are you? and I'm ... are taught as chunks.
