Objective & content
The narrator asks Max, Mila, Luna and Ben in turn how they go to school. Max walks, Mila goes by bus, Luna goes by car and Ben goes by bike, and the narrator repeats each answer calmly. The episode ends with the class's turn after Now you say it! The question and the answers are fixed chunks, with the transport words (walk, bus, car, bike) shown by the pictures, which also model road safety. Pupils listen, point at the picture and repeat aloud; no reading or writing is involved.
Materials & prerequisites
The episode audio and slideshow are the only materials: there are no printables and no lesson plan for this episode. No grammar is assumed; How do you go to school? and I go by ... are taught as chunks.
