Teaching guide
Objective & content
The narrator asks Max, Mila, Luna and Ben what they like, and each names one thing: pizza, music, cats and soccer. The pre-A1 pupils hear the fixed question "What do you like?" and the chunk "I like...", taught as set phrases and not analysed. The vocabulary is four familiar topics (food, music, animals, sport), each shown in the picture so pupils can point at it and repeat. At the end the kids say "Now you say it!" and each pupil answers aloud with something they like, after about four seconds of silence. No reading or writing is involved.
