Teaching guide
Objective & content
Max, Mila, Luna and Ben each answer the narrator's question in turn, and each scene shows a different time of day on a clock. The episode teaches one fixed question and answer, with the question word "what" and the verb "be" inside it: "What time is it?" and "It's seven o'clock." The hours used are seven, eight, three and four. At the end the kids say "Now you say it!" and the class answers aloud after a pause of about four seconds. Pupils listen, point at the clock and repeat; nothing is read or written.
Materials & prerequisites
The episode has no printable sheets and no lesson plan. Prepare a classroom clock or a paper clock face to point at. No prior grammar is assumed: the question and the answer are taught as whole phrases, and the numbers are ten or under.
